No matter how good modern medical technology is, it certainly cannot save you from the problems caused by an unhealthy lifestyle. It is much better to strive to live in such a way as to never get sick than to deal with finding a modern medical solution for every problem.

Any precaution you take is definitely better than any treatment. Here are seven tips on how to have a long and healthy life is possible. This lifestyle, which will help protect you from diseases, also helps you lose weight.

 1. Get up as early as possible every day

An old adage goes, “Early to bed and early to rise makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise.” I don´t know if it will make you rich, but it will definitely make you healthy. Your body needs enough sleep, neither more nor less.

2. Get Enough Exercise

In the past, people had to use their physical bodies more for their normal work. But many of us today are able to get up and drive to work, then sit down, get up to drive home, and sit back for the rest of the day when we get home. There is absolutely no physical labor in such a life. This physical inactivity that most of us experience may be one of the main causes of many diseases. If your normal work does not require you to exert yourself physically, you should add sports, jogging, walking and other physical activities to your life.

3. Eat when you´re hungry

This is actually a very simple idea, but once again we go against the body´s messages. If you habitually eat at certain times of the day or because of social pressure in your environment, you will often not be able to digest your food properly, even if you really do not have an appetite. Acidity and severe indigestion begin and this adds to the possibility of other more complex diseases settling in. Having an adequate appetite is actually one of the main indicators of good health. However, if you do not have an appetite, you should wait a bit and then eat or try to eat anyway. (If you still have no appetite even after awaiting a reasonable amount of time, something is wrong, you should consult a doctor as soon as possible.)

4. Fast on a Regular, Systematic Basis

If you ask someone to work 365 days a year without rest, they will complain after a while and say that they need to rest or they will be unable to work. However, we have not questioned or even thought about this situation of our digestive organs, which have been forced to work every day without rest since we were born. They can´t object to us as a person does to their boss, but after a while they start to give us signals that they can´t work non-stop. When we ignore these signals and still force them to work, problems arise in these organs. Therefore, it is necessary to fast periodically from time to time. Avoid eating for a full day if you can. You can also apply Intermittent Fasting tactics. In this way, you allow your digestive organs to rest, and as a result, you will help to remove waste from your body. Those who fast regularly also gain extra time for intellectual or spiritual pursuits. Fasting is a logical practice that everyone can apply to their health.

5. Meditate regularly

Your body is directly connected to your mind. Studies have shown that most of the diseases of this age are psychosomatic. Stress and anxiety also take a toll on our physical health. Meditation is, among many other things, a mental exercise that allows you to distract yourself from life´s worries and find peace of mind. Learn a simple technique and do it regularly. 6. Wash with cold water before going to bed

Proper regular and adequate sleep is essential for maintaining good health. If you wash your hands, arms, eyes, legs, mouth and genitals, which are your important motor and sensory organs, with cold water before going to sleep, you will relax and prepare for deep sleep. Better take a cold shower before you go to bed.

7. Go to sleep when you are sleepy

This may sound pretty simple. But many people don´t get this message and stay up late, even when their bodies tell them it´s time to sleep. Yoga and Ayurvedic doctors also say that it is better to sleep at night and be active during the day, which is normal. However, students unconsciously take coffee and stimulants to study until late at night. Others develop the habit of staying active at night by sleeping during the day. Although they can do this, they will eventually harm their health. Alternative medicine doctors say that such an unnatural life is one of the important factors contributing to the formation of cancer and other diseases.

If you follow these tips, you can´t go wrong as a result.
